SUMMARY
Michael has more than 25 years of professional experience. He advises corporations, boards, and financial investors in M&A transactions, chief financial officer (CFO) advisory, restructuring, and transformations. Previously, he managed a variety of sell- and buy-side M&A transaction projects, including lead advisories, carve-outs, postmerger integrations, due diligences, and divestiture preparations with focus on value creation programs. Additionally, he has managed several transformation as well as restructuring programs with focus on value creation and EBITDA and cash flow optimization. And he has held interim management CFO roles. Prior to joining AlixPartners, he was managing director at Duff & Phelps and partner at KPMG corporate finance.
Michael passed the German chartered accountant and tax advisor exam.
