The COVID-19 pandemic is disrupting our lives in many ways. One of the silver linings in an incredibly difficult period across the globe is the abrupt shift in adoption of digital tools: not just for conducting business, but for people to go about their everyday activities.
This brings incredible opportunities in relation to broader use of Artificial Intelligence in learning, as explored in this RSA article. Many of us already interact with 'smart bots' when we go online to buy insurance, look for a better internet deal or request a loan from the bank. The uptake in usage of online tools for learning will accelerate the benefits that AI can bring to both individuals and organisations.
Artificial intelligence can genuinely transform how we live, learn and work - giving people the opportunity to re-skill and break down some of the barriers to learning faced by many today (including conflict, deprivation and access for those with additional needs).
